| Eid Mela |
|
-On Friday, October 19th, the Cypress Creek Muslim Student Association held a Eid Mela in order to celebrate the ending of Ramadan and raise funds for a charitable cause. The event was a huge success and and resulted in over a 100 students coming and participating by eating islamic food, wearing cultural clothing, and putting mehndi (cultural tatoos) on their skin.

| Movie Day |
-The Muslim Student Association is planning a movie day for the students in Cypress Creek to educate them about Islam through the use culturallly emotition films. This film will be shown in the auditorium on a friday evening and the students may receive extra credit from their teachers. This event is still in planning so their is no set date or set film to watch.
